Is There a Fee to Become a Creator?
No. It is 100% free to become a PixelPointTV creator and utilize PixelPointTV creator solutions.
What Length Should My Videos Be?
To get more views, we recommend that your videos be around 3-4 minutes in length, but we accept videos anywhere from 30 seconds to up to 30 minutes.
How Long Does it Take for a Video to Be Approved?
At PixelPointTV, all video uploads are manually vetted by staff to ensure quality, strong entertainment value, and compliance with terms of service. Thus, not all video uploads submitted to PixelPointTV are approved. However, the approval process is pretty quick. Most video uploads are reviewed and approved by PixelPointTV staff in less than 24 hours on business days. The process can take up to 72 hours, however, if uploads are submitted during non-business hours or during periods with a higher volume of submissions.
Can I Use Videos from My YouTube Channel, Instagram Account, or Other Platforms?
Absolutely! Videos uploaded to PixelPointTV do not have to be exclusives. You are free to upload videos to PixelPointTV from any of your social or video-sharing accounts, including YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion, Twitch, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
Do I Retain the Rights to My Content?
Yes! When you upload videos to PixelPointTV, you still own the rights to that content to use as you please.
Can I Promote My Website or YouTube Channel on PixelPointTV?
Yes! You are free to promote your website, social and video-sharing accounts, Patreon link, or any other properties that will help grow your brand. Once you become a PixelPointTV creator, you will be able to easily promote your brand via an easy-to-use links section on your channel profile.
Which Types of Videos Get the Most Views?
PixelPointTV viewers are a younger audience (Millennials or younger), and typically enjoy videos related to movies, music, TV, food, and pop culture. However, PixelPointTV viewers love being entertained. So, if you create something that is new, fresh, or engaging, viewers will definitely watch.
What Type of Content is Allowed? Can I Use Profanity?
PixelPointTV doesn't allow nudity, pornography, sexual content, violence, hate speech and the types of content that typically isn't allowed on most social or video-sharing platforms.
Currently, the use of profanity in videos is allowed in very small doses at PixelPointTV. Please try to not use profanity, and always make sure to "bleep" or censor the use of profane words.
Which File Types Do You Accept and What is Your Maximum File Size?
Currently, we accept .mp4 files and our maximum file size is 5gb per upload.
Where Can I Find Information on Your Copyright Policies?
We take the copyrights of artists, creators, and companies very seriously at PixelPointTV. Therefore, we will not approve any video that contains copyrighted music, images, video or other materials that have not been approved for distribution by the origin creator, artist, or company. Additionally, any creator found using another creator's videos will be permanently banned from uploading videos to PixelPointTV.
